![]() ![]() JIMMY NEUTRON CHARACTERS TVThis was always among my favorite tv specials to watch as a kid. " Operation: Rescue Jet Fusion" = Jimmy is tasked on a special secret mission to rescue a famous spy from the clutches of Calamitous, but it turns out that this spy is none other than Jimmy's favorite actor Jet Fusion. I never get tired of watching this one lol. Even though it was pretty simplistic in concept, all the visual gags and jokes used with this episode (Jimmy trying to remember to get titanium 'cause it starts with a "T", Sheen complaining about the "old days" like a cranky grandpa, and then Carl almost crashing into traffic at one point while on a stretcher lol) was just brilliant XD. ![]() Lol Idk why but honestly this has always been one of the funniest episodes of the show for me XD. " Grumpy Young Men" = Jimmy and his friends get accidentally turned into old men as they were trying to simply turn "old" enough to buy a videogame, leading them to race against the clock to turn back to kids. ![]() ![]() Ah well, at least that end gag of Sheen meeting "Bonzilla" (but then getting flamed after he calmed him a "wimp" XD) was pretty funny. not really helped by having that downer ending of Jimmy's team still losing the big game even after that heartfelt speech about "playing fairly". Not really too much of a baseball fan so I don't really recall this one being too memorable on it's own. " The Retroville 9" = Jimmy helps his local baseball team win more games by inventing specialized baseball gear to improve everyone's skill. Interesting how they had to reverse everything back to the start of the episode via-Leppy getting a hold of the remote. Can never go wrong with an episode that features dinosaurs! Lil Leppy was a cute companion during Jimmy's adventures in the Jurassic period, Sheen learning to bond with those baby Pterodactyls was sweet, and I love how trollish Hugh's antics with the remote got back in the current timeline XD (even implied to have made a woman give birth over and over? Wow lol). " Sorry, Wrong Era" = After playing around with his time control remote too much, Jimmy and his friends get accidentally reverted back 200 million years into the past, while Hugh is left to play with the remote which bugs everyone else in town. A shame they couldn't have at least kept some of the rubies alongside the ones they used for the rocket fuel, but it did still at least teach a decent lesson about friendship being more important than riches ^^ (.before the gang went to chase Jimmy with their shovels out of anger XD). Funny how they had that holograph surfer dude constantly calling the kids' houses as if they were just away at camp, and then Cindy had to actually think about either prioritizing the rubies over their own lives lol. A fun little start to the season with an interesting plot device like astro rubies being the key to causing a wedge between the heroes, especially with the space pirate trio making for some unique threats to face. " A Beautiful Mine" = Jimmy and his friends head out to space to dig up some priceless astro-rubies, but upon facing some local space pirates they start to become overwhelmed with greedy paranoia. (A little guide to this grading system here):Ī = Fave, an episode that I found SO fun overall that I consider it my personal favoriteī = Good, an episode that I think is entertaining, but not quite "fave" materialĬ = Okay, an episode that I'm pretty neutral on, but I can still find some positives to say about itĭ = Meh, an episode that I'm pretty neutral on, but there's too many negatives to make it "Okay"į = Bad, an episode that is just SO filled with negatives that I can't give it a positive ranking, at all. Since I've already covered the first season of Jimmy Neutron, time to move onto the next season How does it hold up compared to the first? Let's find out~ ![]()
